Baghdad: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Bilateral Relations, Mohammed Hussein Bahr Al-Uloom, discussed with the Bahraini Ambassador, Khalid Ahmed Al-Mansour, strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries. A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Bahr Al-Uloom received, today, Monday, the Bahraini Ambassador to Baghdad, Khalid Ahmed Al-Mansour, at the Ministry building on the occasion of assuming his duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Iraq, and discussed strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries and discussing issues of common interest. The Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs, according to the statement, referred to the historical, cultural and religious ties between the peoples of the two countries, and the importance of working to expand the frameworks of cooperation in various fields in light of the security and political stability witnessed by Iraq, expressing the su pport and assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the success of the work of the Bahraini Embassy in Baghdad, welcoming Ambassador Al-Mansour, and wishing him success in performing his new duties in Baghdad, stressing the important role he will play in developing relations between the two countries. For his part, the Bahraini Ambassador expressed his thanks for the support provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to make the diplomatic mission in Baghdad a success, stressing the continuation of cooperation and work to raise bilateral relations to higher levels to achieve the common interests of the two countries.
