The Russian Foreign Ministry announced, today, Monday that Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived in China on an official visit at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi. The official spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said on Telegram: 'Lavrov will hold discussions on April 8 and 9 that address issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as international issues.' While the Foreign Ministry said in a statement: 'The two sides will discuss a wide range of bilateral cooperation issues, as well as hot issues on the international scene, including the Ukrainian crisis, with a focus on joint work in the United Nations, BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and the G20.'
