President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid stressed the need to intensify efforts and international coordination to uncover the fate of the remaining missing Yazidis and hold the perpetrators accountable. The President said on the tenth anniversary of the Yazidi genocide: We salute with reverence and honor the martyrs and the great sacrifices made in confronting ISIS terrorism and thwarting its malicious plans to target the Yazidis and the rest of the Iraqis. He added: We stress on this occasion the necessity of intensifying efforts and international coordination to uncover the fate of the remaining missing persons, hold the perpetrators accountable and bring them to justice to receive the punishment for their criminal acts, and work to return all displaced Yazidis to the city of Sinjar, enhance its security and stability, and provide the requirements of a decent life so that they can live in dignity and peace.
