President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid stressed the importance of the historical roles of the Fayli Kurds in the country. The President of the Republic, during his meeting with the delegation of the Fayli Kurdish House, today, explained "the importance of the historical roles of the Fayli Kurds in the country and their struggle against dictatorial regimes, and their participation in various aspects of life, appreciating their contributions to building Iraq, its progress, and preserving the unity of the social fabric." The President praised the sacrifices made by the Fayli Kurds over the past decades and their suffering as a result of forced deportation during the rule of the former regime, stressing the need for all Iraqis to participate in political life in a way that serves the democratic process and contributes to the development of the country, stressing the importance of unifying the Fayli Kurdish House. For their part, the members of the delegation thanked the President for receiving them and supporting their issues, reviewing a number of problems related to the Fayli Kurds, and the general conditions in the country.
