President of the Republic Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid received today, Wednesday, at the Baghdad Palace, Maurizio Cricanti, the Italian Ambassador on the occasion of the end of his term. The President of the Republic stressed, during the meeting, according to a presidential statement, the importance of continuing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, and expanding the horizons of joint cooperation to serve common interests, appreciating the role of Ambassador Cricanti in this regard, and wishing him success in his future tasks. For his part, Cricanti thanked the efforts of President Abdul Latif Rashid and his support for developing and strengthening relations between the two friendly countries and peoples in areas of common interest.
