The President of the Republic meets a number of heads of administrative units, dignitaries and tribal sheikhs in Kirkuk Governorate

President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid met today, Thursday, in Kirkuk Governorate, a number of heads of administrative units, dignitaries and tribal sheikhs in the governorate. The President of the Republic expressed his happiness to visit Kirkuk Governorate, pointing out the importance of the city in terms of population diversity and natural resources, stressing the need to invest it to serve the people of the governorate. He stressed that the people of Kirkuk from all sects and components have proven, despite the challenges, their insistence on preserving peaceful coexistence and triumphing for the values of brotherhood, noting that the city of Kirkuk needs more unification of efforts to move forward in sustaining the reconstruction process and developing the infrastructure, in addition to mobilizing government efforts to improve the standard of living and services for the citizens of the governorate. The President pointed out that "what is incumbent upon the heads of administrative units tod ay is to improve the reality of Kirkuk Governorate on various security, educational, health, service and economic levels." He pointed out "the great role that falls on the shoulders of tribal sheikhs and dignitaries in establishing security and stability and spreading the values of love, stressing that the Presidency of the Republic will work with everyone to support this path." During the meeting, the administrative and service reality in the districts and sub-districts affiliated with Kirkuk Governorate was discussed, as well as the necessity of supporting the efforts and work of administrative units, solving the problems they face, and developing mechanisms and solutions to develop organizational and service aspects and raise the level of efficiency in work to meet the needs of citizens. For their part, the attendees expressed their happiness with the President's visit to Kirkuk, appreciating his positions and proposals in support of establishing security, stability and the safety of its people.
