Brussels: Belgium condemned the measures announced by the Israeli authorities aimed at tightening their control over the West Bank. Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Priveaux affirmed that these steps constitute a clear violation of international law and undermine the prospects for peace. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Priveaux described these steps as contrary to international law, noting that they contravene UN Security Council Resolution 2334 and the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice.
