The President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, headed today, Wednesday, to France in response to an official invitation he received from the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, and the President of the International Olympic Committee, Dr. Thomas Bach, to attend the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.
