Baghdad: The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, congratulated the Iraqi people and the Islamic world on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha. Rashid said in a blog post on the 'X' platform, 'On the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, I extend my warmest congratulations and blessings to the Iraqi people and Muslims around the world, wishing a happy Eid filled with security and peace for our country, our people, and all the peoples of the region.' He added: 'We emphasize on this blessed occasion the consolidation of the values of brotherhood, solidarity and cooperation among the people of one nation and continuing the path towards building a prosperous future for our country in which all citizens live in security, progress and prosperity.'
