The Popular Mobilization Forces Operations Command in Anbar announced, on Sunday, the overthrow of one of the largest drug traffickers in the governorate. The Popular Mobilization Forces said in a statement that the Security Department of the Operations Command, after continuous follow-up, was able to arrest one of the largest drug traffickers in Anbar Governorate, called (Arif Muayyad Jassim), in his possession of a large quantity of narcotic pills, not all of which were revealed for security reasons. He explained that this person intended to distribute quantities of drugs within the governorate, and legal measures were taken against him and he was handed over to the competent authorities.
