The Palestinian Medical Relief Society treats two hundred thousand patients in the Gaza Strip every month

Gaza - Together - Since the beginning of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Medical Relief Society has continued its humanitarian medical services in all governorates of the Gaza Strip, where 43 medical teams, mobile clinics, and teams are working to provide treatment for the wounded in various cities, shelter centers, and displaced persons' communities from Jabalia and Beit Lahia to Gaza City. And the central regions of Deir al-Balah and Nuseirat to the governorates of Khan Yunis and Rafah, and they treat more than two hundred thousand patients per month. Despite the destruction of the occupation tanks of the association's main headquarters in Tal al-Hawa, and the bombing and destruction of a number of clinics and medical treatment and rehabilitation centers affiliated with the association, relief was able to reassemble its medical teams and double the number of its workers, including doctors, nurses, women's health doctors, and psychologists, and distributed them. It has teams capable of rap id movement and responding to emergency needs, along with hundreds of volunteer paramedics and young activists. The Medical Relief Center in the Samer area in the heart of Gaza City has not stopped working since the beginning of the aggression, and it currently treats more than 1,800 patients daily, throughout the day, and provides them with medicines, treatments, physical therapy, and specialist services. After the destruction of Al-Shifa Hospital, the center, in cooperation with the Health Ministry, takes care of patients. Cancer, thalassemia, blood and kidney diseases. Medical Relief has employed a large number of midwives to care for and assist pregnant and breastfeeding women in various regions, and works around the clock to deliver medicines, treatments, infant formula, nursing materials, and dressings for the wounded to those who need them by all possible means. Despite the martyrdom of some workers and volunteers in the bombing and the arrest of some of them for weeks, the workers of the Medical Re lief Society insist on steadfastness and remaining in the Gaza Strip and continuing their noble humanitarian role with the continuous support of all the administration, facilities and institutions of the Society and its volunteers in the various regions and governorates of Palestine.
