Ramallah - Ma'an - The Israeli occupation forces continued their arrest campaigns in the West Bank at an unprecedented pace, arresting at least 30 citizens from the West Bank since yesterday evening until Wednesday morning, including children, former prisoners, and citizens held hostage. The Prisoners Authority and the Prisoners Club said in a joint statement, today, Wednesday, that since the occupation announced the aggression on the northern West Bank since last Wednesday, the occupation has arrested more than (180) citizens, and these cases confirmed by the institutions, in light of the continuation of the military operation in Jenin, and the inability to know the final number of arrests in the governorate, which is estimated in the dozens. The ongoing and escalating arrest campaigns were accompanied by field investigations of dozens of citizens in several towns and camps, as happened this morning in Jalazone camp, Beit Surik town, and areas where the occupation forces continue their aggression, in addit ion to the severe beating of citizens, the use of police dogs, and the use of citizens as human shields and hostages, in addition to the widespread acts of vandalism that affected homes. It is noteworthy that the occupation forces have arrested more than 10,400 citizens from the West Bank, including Jerusalem, since the beginning of the ongoing war of extermination and comprehensive aggression against our people. It is noteworthy that the data related to arrest cases include detainees from the West Bank, excluding Gaza, whose numbers are estimated in the thousands. Source: Maan News Agency
