Gaza: On Friday, the Al-Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, witnessed fierce clashes between resistance fighters and the Israeli occupation forces, which escalated their attack on the neighborhood. Correspondents said that civil defense teams were unable to reach the injured in the neighborhood amid the continuing shelling. The Al-Quds Brigades confirmed that they blew up an Israeli military vehicle with a ground device and engaged in zero-range clashes with the occupation forces, noting that they caused deaths and injuries among their ranks in Tallet Al-Muntar and its environs, east of the Al-Shuja'iya neighborhood. The Israeli army spokesman announced that the forces of the 98th Division have continued, during the last twenty-four hours, to carry out a military operation in the Shujaiya neighborhood. He added that, in conjunction with the entry of the forces, the Air Force aircraft attacked dozens of Hamas infrastructure facilities.
