Salfit - Ma'an - The occupation bulldozers continued to level large areas of citizens' lands in the "Dahr Subuh" area, west of Salfit. Yousef Abu Safia, a member of the National Committee for the Defense of Lands in the Salfit Governorate, said, 'The occupation bulldozers have been continuing their work for days to level large areas of land belonging to the citizens of the town of Bidya, located in the areas of 'Al-Maqa'id and Hariqat Al-Bata' in the Dahr Subh area, south of Bidya, for the benefit of the water and sewage networks for the benefit of the settlements and settlement expansion.' Abu Safiya added that the lands of the Dahr Sobh area are owned by the residents of Bidya, Kafr ad-Dik, Burqin, Sarta and Rafat al-Zawiya, and that the area is targeted by the occupation because of its distinguished and prominent strategic location in relation to the surrounding Israeli settlements, namely 'Ali Zahav, Peduel, Bruchin and Leshem' from the south, and what is known as 'Aber Samaria' from the north, noting t hat the area of ??Dahr Sobh is estimated at more than 10,000 dunams, most of which are planted with ancient olive trees, as the settlers bulldozed and seized hundreds of dunams, installed caravans and built barracks, and planted areas of land with grape trees and fenced them. Since then, bulldozing operations have continued in the area. Abu Safiya called on the landowners to prepare the supporting documents and submit them to legal institutions in order to object and file lawsuits in the Israeli courts, especially since some farmers filed lawsuits years ago, and the ruling was in favor of the Palestinian landowners.
