Jenin - Ma'an - On Saturday evening, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man from Jenin at the Zaatara military checkpoint, south of Nablus. Local sources said that the occupation forces arrested the young man, Muhammad Raed Arqawi (22 years old), from inside a vehicle at the Zaatara military checkpoint, as he was heading to the city of Ramallah with his family. In a related context, occupation soldiers assaulted a young man (30 years old), from the village of Fahma, while he was passing through the Barta'a military checkpoint, south of the city. The young man's family said that the occupation forces severely beat him and destroyed his cell phone after opening it and tampering with it.
