The number of victims of malnutrition and dehydration in the Gaza Strip rose to 37 people after the death of the child Abdul Qader Al-Sarhi, in the city of Deir Al-Balah in the central Strip, today, Saturday, according to Palestinian media. Medical sources said, "The child Abdul Qader Al-Sarhi (13 years old) was martyred in Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip as a result of malnutrition and the lack of treatment in light of the occupation's closure of the Rafah crossing." The same sources said: 'The announced toll reflects what reaches hospitals only, and that dozens are dying silently, as a result of famine, without being able to reach hospitals.' They added that the health situation in the Gaza Strip is going from bad to worse, with the expansion of military operations in the city of Rafah towards the west, and all its hospitals being out of service. The Israeli army has continued to close the Rafah crossing for 26 days, amid warnings of a worsening humanitarian situation , due to the lack of flow of life-saving supplies to citizens in various parts, especially in the areas of the northern Gaza Strip, which face the 'risk of real famine,' according to Ma'an Agency.
