Baghdad, The Ministry of Youth and Sports held a meeting with the authorities concerned with preparing for the final qualifiers for the World Cup, in the presence of the President of the Iraqi Football Association, Adnan Darjal, to discuss the details of holding matches at the Sports City Stadium in Basra. The Director General of the Scientific Care Department, Ahmed Saad Aliwi, said, according to a statement by the Ministry: 'The meeting resulted in a discussion of the roles of each party and the preparations required to show the stadium in the most beautiful way, and to organize the matches in the best way that matches the size of the large crowds that will attend the matches of our national team.' He pointed out that "the Minister directed to overcome all difficulties and provide the needs of the sports city stadiums in Basra to the fullest extent." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
