The Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi, received today, Sunday, in the Ministry building, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, Muhammad Kazem Al-Sadiq. A statement by the Ministry of Transport stated that during the meeting, a number of topics of common interest in the transport sector between the two countries were discussed, and ways to strengthen relations and expand the horizons of bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran in a way that serves the common interests of the two countries. For his part, the Iranian Ambassador renewed his country's thanks to the government and people of Iraq for offering condolences, solidarity and sympathy over the painful tragedy of the death of Ibrahim Raisi, the Foreign Minister and his companions.
