Minister of Transport Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi and his Egyptian counterpart, Lieutenant General Kamel Al-Wazir, chaired an expanded meeting between the two sides today, Sunday, to discuss joint transport projects between the two countries. Al-Saadawi said on the sidelines of the meeting, during a press conference with his Egyptian counterpart: Today, we discussed with the Egyptian Minister of Transport, Lieutenant General Kamel Al-Wazir and his accompanying delegation, a number of files related to the maritime and land transport sectors and strategic projects. He added that the meeting witnessed a review of the ministry's projects related to the development road and the Grand Faw Port, and memoranda of understanding between the two brotherly countries. He stressed that the future of the Arab Bridge Tripartite Company (Iraqi, Egyptian, Jordanian) was also discussed. For his part, the Egyptian Minister of Transport said: This visit is different from previous bilateral meetings, indicating, Today we are in Baghdad to extend a helping hand to our brothers in Iraq, whether in terms of transportation, reconstruction, housing, or industry.
