The Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi, and his Jordanian counterpart, Wissam Al-Tahtamouni, chaired, today, Wednesday, the general assembly meeting of the Iraqi-Jordanian Land Transport Company, in the presence of members of the company's board of directors and its executive management. A statement from the Ministry's media office stated: 'Al-Saadawi headed a ministerial delegation to Jordan to attend the general assembly meeting of the Iraqi-Jordanian Land Transport Company, in Amman,' indicating that the meeting discussed issues related to the company's work, and the financial and administrative issues of the company were also discussed. The statement added: 'The minister met, on the sidelines of the meeting, with his Jordanian counterpart, engineer Wissam Al-Tahtamouni, to talk about strategic projects and enhancing cooperation between the two countries. He reviewed the details of the work on the strategic development road and Grand Port of Al-Faw projects, and the ministry's plans and pr ocedures in the aviation sector and other sectors.' The statement pointed out that the Jordanian Minister of Transport praised the efforts of the Iraqi Ministry of Transport and its endeavors in the development road project, stressing that its completion will create a new Iraq and will serve the countries of the region and the world. Jordanian Minister spoke about her ministry's work in the aviation, railways, mass transport and ports sectors. The two sides stressed the need to enhance joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries and exchange visits and experiences. They also agreed to hold another meeting in Baghdad.
