The ministry stated in a statement: 'The minister made a visit to the Iraqi Museum, where he was received by the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani, and the Director General of the Department of Museums, Lama Yas Al-Douri, and they conducted a tour inside the museum's corridors, looking at its departments, and halls.' The Deputy Prime Minister praised the efforts made to present the Iraqi civilization, which is steeped in history, in a way that befits it and gives tourists an idea of the value of this important historical heritage, stressing the need to support the tourism sector, especially archaeological ones, to be an important economic tributary to the country.
