Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari praised today, Monday, the joint cooperation between the Iraqi Interior Ministries and their Saudi counterparts, which resulted in the signing of a security agreement. A statement by the Ministry of Interior stated that the Minister met in his office, today, Monday, with the Director General of the Border Forces in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Major General Shayea Salem Al-Wadani, and the accompanying delegation, which included commanders of the border areas on the Saudi side. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Saudi Ambassador in Baghdad, advisors to the Minister of Interior, and the Commander of the Borders Forces and Director of Arab and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Interior. According to the statement, the Minister of Interior praised the great and fruitful cooperation between the two brotherly countries in coordinating efforts and strengthening and automating the common borders, praising the joint cooperation between the Iraqi Interior Min istries and their Saudi counterparts, which resulted in the signing of a security agreement. For his part, the head of the Saudi delegation appreciated the coordination and cooperation between the two countries and the depth of the distinguished relations between them in various fields, especially security.
