Tourism and Antiquities Officer in the Nineveh Provincial Council, Wissam Salem, said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that, 'The engineering and technical teams in the Nineveh Antiquities and Heritage Inspectorate, along with work teams from the University of Pennsylvania, began rebuilding the temple and the palace after they were destroyed by ISIS criminal gangs.
