Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Supreme Security Committee for Securing the Arbaeen Visit, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, inspected the procedures at Zurbatiyah border crossing. The ministry stated in a statement: "In continuation of his tour of a number of border crossings and roads used by visitors of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, the Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Supreme Security Committee for Securing the Arbaeen Visit, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, and the accompanying delegation, inspected Zurbatiyah border crossing in Wasit Governorate." He was briefed on the mechanism for the entry of visitors to Iraq from this crossing heading to the holy Karbala, and the services provided to them, stressing the simplification of procedures and the provision of all the needs of visitors. The Minister met with a number of concerned figures and supporting bodies, directing the intensification of security and service efforts in conjunction with the approach of this occasion and showing it in the re quired manner. The Minister listened to their needs and directed a set of recommendations that would achieve the goals set within the Arbaeen Visit plan. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
