The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, held a meeting with his Iranian counterpart, Ahmad Vahidi, at the Shalamcheh border crossing, in the presence of the Governor of Basra, Asaad Al-Eidani, and the head of the Security Committee in the Provincial Council, Aqil Al-Furaiji, to discuss the plan for the Arbaeen visit and the mechanism for facilitating the entry of visitors arriving to the holy Karbala.
