Minister of Communications, Hiyam Al-Yasiri, stressed the need to redouble the efforts of companies that equip the Internet via optical cable. A statement by the Ministry of Communications stated, 'Today, Saturday, Al-Yasiri chaired an important meeting with representatives of companies providing Internet service, and during the meeting the importance of activating and increasing the marketing rates of FTTH fiber optic lines and connecting them to landlines is considered the best and fastest compared to Wi-Fi technology and what problems it causes for users, since it causes randomness in the towers and lines that reach the citizen." During the meeting, Al-Yasiri stressed the need to redouble the efforts of companies that equip Internet service via optical cable, in a way that contributes to improving the level of service provided.
