Baghdad: The Iraqi Journalists Syndicate announced honoring Palestinian journalist Wael Al-Dahdouh with the Press Shield Award, in appreciation of his courage in exposing Zionist crimes and his dedication to performing his journalistic work and media message with all sincerity and professionalism. Dahdouh expressed, during a video speech recorded on the occasion of the celebrations of the 155th anniversary of the National Day of the Iraqi Press today, Sunday, in Baghdad, his high appreciation for the support of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate and its support for the Palestinian cause and the role of Iraqi journalists in conveying authentic national positions to support the steadfastness of our Palestinian people in Gaza and the occupied territories against the crimes of the usurping entity.
