The Special Forces team managed to climb the tenth highest mountain peak in the world in a global competition CISM held in the Russian Federation with the participation of 15 countries. A statement from the Ministry of Defense stated that the Iraqi Special Forces team reached first place in climbing the heroes of Mount Elbrus, which is located in the Western Caucasus Mountains in the Russian Federation. The summit of Elbrus is the highest peak in the Caucasus Mountains, Russia and Europe, with a height of 5,642 m, and it is ranked tenth in the world. The temperature reaches 30 below zero in addition to the lack of visibility day and night and the lack of oxygen that reaches 50%. The mountain is one of the most dangerous heights in the world.
