The Iraqi Journalists Syndicate renewed, today, Sunday, its rejection of holding obscene festivals and parties that are held under (cultural or artistic) names, because these festivals are inconsistent with the values and traditions of our authentic Iraqi society. In a statement, the Syndicate called on the official authorities not to allow anyone to hold or organize such festivals because they constitute a severe insult to the behaviors and beliefs of the Iraqi people who adhere to their values and beliefs.
