The Iraqi Journalists Syndicate mourned the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who was martyred in a Zionist raid on the southern suburb of Beirut. It added: "While we in the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate strongly condemn this treacherous aggression, we declare our solidarity with our brothers in Lebanon in their heroic confrontation of the Zionist aggression. We offer our sincere condolences to the Iraqi and Lebanese peoples and our readiness to provide all forms of support to the brotherly Lebane se people in a way that enhances their steadfastness in the face of the enemy, which did not hesitate to use all prohibited weapons in a desperate attempt to undermine their will in the face of the silence of the international community and its humanitarian organizations." The Iraqi Journalists Syndicate continued: "On this occasion, we pray to God Almighty to have mercy on the martyred hero, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and all the martyrs and to grant them a place in His spacious gardens.
