The Iraqi Drilling Company's staff has completed drilling and reclaiming three new oil wells in the Zubair and West Qurna fields. The Director of the First Operations Authority, Muhannad Maki Taresh, explained: "The technical and engineering teams in the company have completed drilling the IDC 626 oil well to a depth of 3634 meters for the Italian company ENI, using the IDC 38 drilling rig, in cooperation with Schlumberger Oil Services Company." He added: "The company has completed the reclamation of well Zb 498 in the Zubair field at a depth of 2,500 meters, using the IDC 47 device, in cooperation with the operator ENI. In the West Qurna field, the company has completed the reclamation of well WQ1 97 using the IDC 30 device, in cooperation with the operator PetroChina." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
