The Intelligence Agency in Baghdad arrested two accused of tribal raids who fled to Nineveh.

A statement by the Agency stated that the Intelligence Agency detachments in Baghdad received information that one of the citizens’ homes within the Camp Sara area in Baghdad Governorate was attacked (the tribal bench) by throwing a grenade from unknown people without knowing the reasons. A technical intelligence work team was formed, accompanied by a special force to investigate and collect information about the perpetrators, the whereabouts of the perpetrators were found within Nineveh Governorate, where the special force set off for Nineveh Governorate, and with a precise ambush, the two accused who participated in throwing the bomb at one of the citizens’ homes were arrested. The arrest warrant process was carried out with the support of the Nineveh Intelligence Agency’s detachments.

He explained: Their statements were recorded and they frankly admitted that they had committed these criminal acts, due to the house owner’s failure to comply with the tribal rulings, and the two defendants were referred to the relevant authorities in preparation for their appearance before the court.
