Baghdad: The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency arrested an accused in his possession of a quantity of mercury in Diyala Governorate. The Agency stated in a statement: "The arrest of the accused took place in a tight ambush, based on accurate intelligence information, and after luring him from outside the governorate." He explained that after investigating him, he explicitly confessed to possessing this substance and trading in it, and was referred to the competent investigative authorities to receive his just punishment.
