The Intelligence Agency arrests an accused after carrying out kidnappings and robberies in Maysan

The Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency announced the arrest of an accused after carrying out kidnappings and robberies in Maysan Governorate. The Agency stated in a statement that with intelligence efforts and field follow-up, the Intelligence Agency detachments (Intelligence Falcons Cell) carried out a qualitative operation that enabled them to arrest an accused wanted in accordance with Article (421) of the Penal Code. He explained that upon investigation, he explicitly confessed to carrying out several thefts, kidnappings and immoral acts in the governorate as a result of his kidnappings in the governorate, and he was referred to the competent investigative authorities to receive his just punishment.
