Baghdad, The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency arrested (9) people accused of drug trafficking in Diwaniyah Governorate. A statement by the Agency stated that its Anti-terrorism detachments in Diwaniyah Governorate carried out separate operations that resulted in the arrest of nine defendants in accordance with Articles (28 and 32) of the Anti-Narcotics Law, after monitoring their movements and following them up on the ground. The statement added: 'The defendants were found in their possession various types of narcotic substances and abuse tools.' Source: National Iraqi News Agency
