The Office of the High Commission for Human Rights in Basra announced the registration of 3 new suicide cases in less than 24 hours in the governorate. The office expressed in a statement its deep regret for the great neglect in following up on the humanitarian file in all its aspects and not considering it the most important file in (building societies), indicating that the most important of this is reading the reality of the largest segments, which are the segments of children and youth and the (major) challenges that stand before them from unemployment, poverty, drugs, cyberspace, extremist movements and extremely dangerous agendas with an almost complete absence of any immediate or future plans that rely on studies, dialogue and treatments to preserve this human wealth. The office called on the House of Representatives, especially its members from Basra, to stand up to the responsibility for which they were assigned, the most important of which is to address the dangerous reality of childhood and youth before it is too late.
