The Head of the Azm Alliance discusses with an American diplomat the political developments in Iraq and the region

Baghdad, The Head of the Azm Alliance, Muthanna Al-Samarrai, received in his office in Baghdad today, Tuesday, the US Chargé d'Affaires in Baghdad, David Parker. The two sides discussed during the meeting, according to a statement by the alliance, the bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States of America, and the developments in the political and security arenas in the region. Al-Samarrai stressed the importance of cooperation in areas of common interest, in a way that serves the interests of the two countries. The importance of resolving political entitlements was also discussed, specifically expediting the election of the Speaker of the Council of Representatives to enhance political stability. For his part, the American diplomat praised the efforts of the Azm Alliance in the political fields, stressing the strength of the relationship between the two countries and the keenness of the United States to strengthen it.
