Jericho - Together - The Governor of Jericho and the Jordan Valley, Dr. Hussein Hamayel, and the Head of the Land Authority, A. Alaa Al-Tamimi to stop encroachments on government lands and settle the files according to the rules and legal requirements. This was during a meeting held today at the governorate headquarters to discuss the file of encroachments on government lands in the city of Jericho. Governor Hamayel added the necessity of integration between the security services and all relevant parties and entities to remove encroachments on state lands and protect them, noting that the instructions of the President and the government come from the aim of preserving the strategic reserve of the Palestinian people and their lands. The governor explained that the instructions are clear to begin removing encroachments on government lands in accordance with the provisions of the law and to take all legal measures against the aggressors, stressing that he will not allow anyone to attack state lands. Al-Tamim i stressed the Land Authority's keenness to preserve government lands as a strategic reserve for expanding services. Al-Tamimi indicated that the authority is serious about removing encroachments out of concern for the public interest, and that these lands are a strategic reserve for the growth and development of society and general needs allocated by the state to citizens or for the public benefits of society.
