The Fourth Region Border Command arrested a suspect in his possession a quantity of drugs.
The Ministry of the Interior stated in a statement: "Based on intelligence information, a force from the Coast Border Command arrested a suspect in his possession (2) kg of crystal by an ambush of the command after chasing him and opening fire on him for trying to escape with his car and injuring him, after drugs were thrown to him on the bank of the Shatt al-Arab, in the Maamer area by a boat coming from one of the neighboring countries, and returned quickly, indicating that the smuggler is currently in a hospital, and legal measures will be taken against him.
