Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, received today, Friday, three very valuable Iraqi artifacts dating back to the ancient Assyrian civilization from the Swiss Minister of Interior, Mrs. Elizabeth Böhm-Schander. A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: 'The Minister expressed, during the ceremony of receiving the artifacts, his thanks to the Swiss government for the cooperation it showed in order to recover this Iraqi cultural heritage,' stressing that the Ministry is striving to return the antiquities to Iraq.
