The Federal Police Command arrested 15 suspects in various legal cases in Baghdad. The Command stated in a statement that the Fifth Division of the Federal Police, in cooperation with the intelligence effort detachments and the security forces operating within the sectors of responsibility in the areas east of the capital, Baghdad, carried out security operations that came in accordance with judicial arrest warrants, resulting in the arrest of 4 suspects, including two women wanted by the judiciary according to the provisions of Article (405 Murder) in the areas of (Umm Al-Kabr and Al-Ghazlan, Husseiniya Al-Maamel), and in cases of (drugs, theft, assault, quarrel, threat, impersonation), and (10) suspects were arrested in the areas of (Al-Shaab, Al-Basatin neighborhood, Al-Rashidiya, Al-Hussainiya, Al-Saada). It added that a security force was subjected to gunfire by one of the accused of theft in the Al-Bawiya area. He was arrested after being injured in the left foot area, and a pistol was seized from him .
