The Counter-Terrorism Service announced today, Friday, the overthrow of three drug traffickers in the governorates of Maysan, Wasit, and Dhi Qar. The CTS stated in a statement, 'In continuation of the specific operations of the heroes of the Counter-Terrorism Service in combating the scourge of drugs, our heroes carried out a series of operations that resulted in the arrest of three drug dealers in different areas of the country. Our units began carrying out the duty of arresting a drug trafficker in Maysan Governorate, which resulted in the arrest of wanted target. He added, "During two separate operations, we were able to arrest two drug dealers in Wasit and Dhi Qar governorates," noting that "the wanted persons were handed over to the General Directorates of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Affairs in the two governorates.
