The Directorate stated in a statement that with intensive and exceptional efforts by the Arab and International Police Directorate / Interpol and through direct coordination with Interpol Cairo in Egypt, the Arab and International Police Directorate detachments were able to recover a fugitive Iraqi accused wanted by the Iraqi judiciary for the crime of (issuing checks without balance) worth of one billion Iraqi dinars, and he was handed over to the requesting party to receive his just punishment.
