The representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the United Nations responded to allegations regarding Tehran's assistance to Yemen in targeting ships in the Red Sea. 'America believes that it can isolate and defeat the Yemeni resistance movement by resorting to its power, military and political hegemony over the United Nations Security Council,' the Islamic Republic of Iran's representation at the United Nations in New York said, in response to allegations by some Western news agencies regarding Iran's assistance to the Yemeni 'Ansar Allah Movement' in targeting ships in the Red Sea.
