Residents of Taiz province on Friday staged large-scale marches across 11 squares, rallying under the banner "In Support of al-Aqsa and Gaza... Support Continues and the Response is Coming." The demonstrations, which spanned al-Nasr Market Square in Maqbanah district and other key locations, were attended by prominent local figures including acting governor Ahmed al-Masawi and Brig. General Mohammed al-Khalid. Participants condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza, highlighting the lack of action from Arab, Islamic, international, and UN bodies. The marches expressed solidarity with the Palestinian cause and the resistance, denouncing what they described as genocidal acts supported by the U.S. and Europe. A statement issued during the marches praised the resilience of the Palestinian people and their resistance, while also condemning the desecration of al-Aqsa Mosque. The statement called on the global community to denounce the Israeli actions and support Palestine. The statement also affirmed th e Yemeni people's unwavering commitment to Palestine, pledging continued support and advocacy. It endorsed the recent formation of the government of change and construction, wishing it success in navigating the current challenges and reaffirming support for the revolutionary leadership and Supreme Political Council.
