The Supreme Committee for Elections and Referendum on Monday organized a speech event on the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday.
At the event, Committee Chairman Judge Mohammed al-Salemi stressed the importance of celebrating the anniversary of the Prophet’s birth and embodying his morals and fragrant conduct, considering the anniversary of the birth of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, as a unifying occasion for all Islamic peoples.
Judge al-Salemi pointed out that Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, was the mercy given to the worlds and the seal of the prophets and messengers, pointing out the importance of celebrating this occasion in a manner befitting the greatness and status of the greatest Messenger.
Deputy Minister of Guidance for the Hajj and Umrah Sector Sheikh Fouad Naji reviewed the great implications of celebrating the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday and the necessity of drawing inspiration from the Holy Prophet’s patience and effort in facing challenges.
Naji explained that Yemenis are accustomed to celebrating this religious occasion, as an embodiment of their close adherence to the Messenger, may Allah bless him and his family and grant them peace, and to imitate their morals, stressing that the nation’s salvation and pride lie in adhering to the approach of the Noble Prophet.
