Baghdad, The Sunni political forces representing 55 MPs agreed to select a new candidate to assume the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives. The Sunni forces stated in a statement, following their meeting today, Tuesday: "The candidate will be presented to the national political blocs to support the nomination and obtain national acceptance to resolve this entitlement and work to take the necessary measures to open the door to nomination and elect the head of the legislative authority nominated by the clear absolute Sunni majority to complete the remaining period of the fifth legislative session."
