BETHLEHEM: A number of Palestinians suffocated today after inhaling tear gas fired at them by Israeli forces during confrontations that erupted in the town of Tuqu', southeast of Bethlehem city. The mayor of Tuqu' municipality, Tayseer Abu Mufarreh, said that Israeli forces raided the town and stationed in the vicinity of the municipality at the western entrance, sparking confrontations, during which the occupation forces fired volleys of tear gas bombs towards local residents, causing dozens to suffocate due to inhaling tears gas.
