Baghdad, The Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of (32) cases of electronic blackmail and (44) cases of domestic violence, noting that (6) runaway girls were returned to their families. The Ministry stated in a statement: 'The suspension and reinstatement operations came from the community police divisions and detachments spread throughout the country's governorates, against the backdrop of appeals received to the community police via its toll-free hotline (497).' It added, "After search and investigation operations, these detachments were able to take the necessary measures against the extortionists and the violent, and to provide psychological and moral support to the victims."
