Special forces carried out a preemptive operation in Tarmiyah district, north of Baghdad. The Security Media Cell stated in a statement that: "Within the preemptive operations carried out by our security forces in the Baghdad Operations Command, the special forces, in coordination with the holding units of the Sixth Division, carried out a search duty for Hasiba's orchard in Tarmiyah district, north of the capital, Baghdad." It added: "The force carrying out the duty found an explosive device, a detonation ruler, 10 60 mm mortar shells, and a quantity of BKC ammunition, and the seized materials were dealt with in a proper manner."
